Just done session with Falkirk High School - really good questions, nice chat!

Favourite Thing: I’m an applied physicist, so my favourite thing is to make devices that improve people’s lives. In my present job this means designing particle accelerators, or bits of a particle accelerator, and then trying them out to see how they behave. Most of my time is spent designing, but I’m most happy sitting at the controls of an accelerator, and figuring out how to make it behave itself!
