It certainly is! Medical doctors have to undertake a 5yr intensive degree followed by many years of ‘on the job’ training before they can specialise in their chosen area of medicine.
PhD doctors have to submit an original piece of research through a huge written document, and then they have to sit a face-to-face exam (known as a viva) with an expert in their field. Scary stuff.
So yes, it’s tough, but if you are passionate about your subject it makes the hard work bearable 🙂
Anyone can be a doctor if they get enough grades and spend enough years at University and want to help people. I suppose getting the grades is hard and working for long hours is hard, but when you are studying to be a doctor you are not alone and can always ask your friends to help you with questions and studying practice
It takes a lot of work and dedication. But if you do it in something you find really interesting it’s easier. I won’t like and say I never had doubts – it’s really hard! But when I got my PhD and people could call me Dr, I was really proud of myself. The most proud I have ever been. It’s worth it for that feeling.
Nope…its so simple…you just need to work more harder…keep interested in science and medicine..get good grades…and it will be simple….but remember doctor’s job is most of the time 24*7…
