Maths, Maths and Maths!!! I really enjoy working with numbers. Ask me anything and especially anything to do with applied Mathematics.
Applied mathematics is the use of maths in everyday situations and trying to understand the world around us with logical statements and equations.
I am studying at University College London which is a very large University and has many subject areas. I spend half my time in the department of CoMPLEX and half my time in the Cell and Developmental Biology department.
I look at experimental data of cells and try to understand how the cells move with mathematical equations

My Typical Day:
Usually I get in early and check the computer code that I set up the night before, if the results are interesting, I analyse them, if they look strange I investigate further
-
What I'd do with the prize money:
Write and article on my work and encourage different school classes to write articles for a school science magazine featuring I’m a scientist and topics on applied mathematical biology and have some copies printed and distributed to the schools
