This depends if you’re only talking about humans! In a lot of other animals, where one male can mate with lots of females, you can get more girls than boys. But, life is quite clever, and when the balance starts to go in one direction, it rights itself, so that there are roughly half and half. But there are lots of species which don’t follow these rules. For example, some things don’t have sex at all, they just clone themselves. In this case all the members of the species are called female, so if you’re considering all the species on the planet (including bacteria, which again don’t have sex), then I;d say yes, there are on average more girls than boys on earth.
But I can’t answer for the rest of the universe. Who knows what weird sex systems might exist on other planets!
