      Well hello,

I think it is a necessary evil at this point in time. We need to ensure that medicines are safe before we test them on real people, and although animals will not necessarily respond in the same way as humans, this method of testing can help us to see whether there are likely to be any problems.

I wouldn’t work on animals myself, and think that the sooner we can get a reliable alternative to animal testing, the better.

We can’t test medicine on humans straight away..it is as simple as that..so we need similar species like human physiology to test our new medicines..all the new chemicals are toxic..and we require to check toxicity and efficacy(is it working to cure disease) of new medicine…Animals are kept on very high priority considering animal welfare..so, if there is no alternative than only we can use animals…animal welfare group has the new Idea called 3Rs as well it means Refinement, Replacement and Reduction of animals. It means We need to search for alternatives if availabel. reduce the use of animals and refine the lab procedures to use maximum use of tissues or any samples we have taken from animals…..believe me they are living luxury life in laboratory compare to us…
