• Question: How does remote control in TV work?

      I don’t really know. I think it uses infrared rays (an invisible wave) which are picked up by a sensor on the TV.

      Like Tiffany said a remote control uses infrared rays. These are picked up by tiny computers inside the TV called microprocessors. They understand the signal in terms of binary code (zeros and ones arranged in different orders) and then pass the message onto more mini computers that then change what channel is being recieved
