• Question: How will you inspire yong people to take an interest in science?

      I’m hoping to do so with the prize money if I win! I have written a children’s book for key stage 2 children on evolution. The story is written as a bedtime poetry book and tells the story of the “rinkdinks”, a make believe group of animals who are separated by a natural disaster and adapted to their new environments. I would love to see the story as a real book, and visit schools to find out if children have a better understanding of evolution after reading it.

      I am currently working as science ambassador through STEM(voluntary goverment funded institute) and we basically try to give basic knowledge of science through young age at school…We run different workshops on science starts from Nursery age to A levels audience…It’s fun and learning based activities…we recently ran worskhop on science in sports where we saw students about doping testing in olympics…
