Question: who invented the computer????

This is difficult because there are lots of different ways to define a computer and it depends how useful you want a computer to be. Computers are basically machines that can calculate like a calculator.

Charles Babbage thought of the Difference Engine in 1847 to 1849 and the London Science museum host a newly made version, which I have seen and it is very cool.

Colossus was the world’s first electronic, digital, programmable computer and was made by Tommy Flowers in 1943 in London. The computer is now at Bletchley Park and is massive!!!!!! It takes up a whole room and is really exciting to see working and even more cool.
