• Question: why did you choose evolution

      I chose evolution because it helped me to understand the world around me. If you saw the skeleton of a dinosaur and had no idea about how it lived you could make a lot of guesses based on what it looked like, because that would tell you the place it best fits (or in other words, the place it is best evolved to).

      For example, T-Rex have MASSIVE teeth so you can quite safely guess it ate meat, and has big legs good for running. Though you may not realise it these are all questions about evolution. Pick any plant or animal and try to look at one thing which seems perfectly shaped for what it needs to do – the reason it is that shape is because it has evolved for that job. I thought that was pretty cool.
